Statement from your Candidate:
As a working class mother and non partisan candidate, I believe local government should prioritize the people who build and maintain our communities. My goal is to ensure our resources are appropriately allocated to protect the essential services we all rely on such as rural roads, EMS, schools, and healthcare; while keeping residential property taxes sustainable for our hardworking families. I propose building Community Centers to provide neutral spaces where residents can connect to vital resources and local entrepreneurs can find start up opportunities and training. We must also look for innovative ways to revitalize empty commercial buildings, ensuring our business zones are active and contributing to our local economy. Regarding new developments, I advocate for protecting our fragile natural resources and preserving our ecology to ensure long term stability for our residents and farmers. Walla Walla County is at a crossroads, I will be a tireless advocate for our fair share of state funding. My plan focuses on enhancing our infrastructure and supporting our EMS in delivering safety to our residents. I am asking for your vote to bring a pragmatic, worker focused voice to the County Commission to rebuild our communities.
